The map shows where our classmates now live.  Scroll past the map and you will be able view our classmates (whether or not they actually graduated from Bexley in 1970). You may also send them a message from this page.

Briefly, describe a memorable event that has happened since graduation: Being a published children's book illustrator encouraged me to return to grad school when I was 50, to seek an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults. While in grad school I began a novel which was subsequently published with starred reviews.
If you could have a "re-do" on your personal or professional life, tell us concisely what you wish you had done: In additon to getting a master's degree in Community and Outdoor Education as well as in Writing for Children and Young Adults, it would have been benficial to get a degree in Art Therapy and attend Pratt or the Rhode Island School of Design.
List a thing or two you'd be willing to talk more about with a classmate at the Reunion: Playing catch up over the many years that have passed between seeing one another. Topics related to what is learned in the catch up.
Name a place you dream about: Returning to the Amazon.
Name something on your bucket list: Unlimited time with family in the US and New Zealand.

Judi Baumgardt (Baumgardt)

Comment: I am so hoping to see everyone at the reunion!  There are so many really good friends that I have lost touch with through the years (decades) that I would love to see and tell them what they meant to me.  I often wonder how we let this happen, but I guess life takes over and we all move on. Perhaps others are wondering the same thing. Maybe the reunion is a chance to reconnect?  Just a thought...
Briefly, describe a memorable event that has happened since graduation: There have been many memorable events, but definitely the most memorable are the births of my niece’s children (two boys) and the births of my two step-children’s children (two boys and two girls). Having had no children of my own, these six kids have given me so much joy and laughter. I treasure them!
If you could have a "re-do" on your personal or professional life, tell us concisely what you wish you had done: If I could do a re-do it would be to never have left teaching visually impaired and multi-handicapped children. Although my next two careers were more intellectually challenging, there is nothing that replaces helping children overcome obstacles and reach toward success.
List a thing or two you'd be willing to talk more about with a classmate at the Reunion: Basically anything. I still like to talk, and I can be a good listener. If I am clueless about the topic or it’s too personal, I’ll let you know. That hasn’t changed either!
Name a place you dream about: I always dream about being at the ocean—my favorite place to be. In reality though, any body of water will do...a lake, a stream, a river...I love them all.
Name something on your bucket list: I would like to travel more...way more.
